In order to promote the oncology academic exchanges and cooperation in science and technology of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) and Western medicine, developing academic characteristics of TCM in oncology, integrating advantages of TCM and Western medicine in prevention and treatment of malignant tumors, improving the standard treatment and scientific evaluation of integrative oncology, the Cancer Institute, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences and the First Affiliated Hospital to Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine are collaborating to convene “the 5th International Traditional Chinese Medicine, Integrated Traditional and Western medicine Oncology Academic Exchange Conference & the 14th National Integrated Traditional and Western medicine Oncology Academic Conference” which will be held July 18-20,2014 in Guangzhou, China. This meeting will be organized by Oncology Committee,Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine and Traditional Medicine Committee, Chinese Anti-Cancer Association. It will be hosted by Cancer Institute of China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, Guang’anmen Hospital, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences,the First Affiliated Hospital to Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine and Oncology Committee,Guangdong provincial Association of Integrative Medicine. The theme of the conference is “Standardized treatment and scientific evaluation”. Internationally recognized experts, policy makers and executives in the fields of western medical oncology and TCM oncology research from China and abroad will be invited to have in-depth discussions on the following topics: 1) Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine and the standard treatment of oncology;2) Establish the evaluation criterion and evaluate scientifically in
TCM & Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine Oncology ;3)Advances of TCM and Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine in oncology scientific research;etc.The academic communication will be carried out through invited reports, keynote speeches and topic discussions in the meeting. The organizing committee and academic Committee of the conference will disscuss seriously and vote by secret ballot to choose “Excellent Paper Award of Integrated Traditional and Western medicine Oncology” with certifications and rewards.
